Mayden is seeking a placement year student to join our development teams in Bath. You will work on our products from day one within a focused Scrum team, contributing to real software used in healthcare.

This 12–13 month placement begins Summer 2027. You must be officially enrolled in a university placement year, and be eligible to work in the UK. We value initiative, collaboration and a proactive approach to learning.

Qualifications

• Ambitious placement year student currently studying in a relevant course (CS, Engineering, Math, Web dev).
• Placement will be 12–13 months starting Summer 2027.
• Eligible to live and work in the UK; placement must be officially part of degree.

Responsibilities

• Join a small, focused Scrum team and contribute to product development.
• Engage in pair programming and code reviews.
• Prepare work for sprints and collaborate with product owners and ops teams.
