Lockton is seeking a qualified professional to design, place, and deliver insurance programmes for Property Damage and Business Interruption for UK and global clients. You will work with clients to understand risk profiles, coordinating with insurers and associates to ensure effective coverage and timely documentation.

The role emphasizes stakeholder management, cross-geography market access, and the development of innovative solutions and reports.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design and place Property Damage and Business Interruption programmes for Lockton clients.
• Manage market relationships at operational and strategic levels.
• Provide market access across geographies including London/UK and Central Europe.
• Advise on coverage, programme pricing and retention strategies.
• Oversee preparation and issuance of coverage documentation within contract certainty deadlines.
• Assist with resolution of service issues with insurers and third-party providers.
• Provide benchmarking and reviews of insurance programmes for clients.

Job description

Role Purpose

Provide programme design, placement, marketing, and consultancy services for Lockton clients in line with agreed account strategies and in accordance with Lockton operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to Lockton Clients for the programme design, placement and delivery for Property Damage and Business Interruption policies.
• Manage market relationships at both an operational and strategic level.
• Market access across a broad range of geographies including London/UK, Central Europe.
• Understand clients risk profile, business needs and exposures to provide advice on coverage, programme pricing and retention strategy.
• Oversee the preparation and issuance of appropriate coverage documentation, including wordings and placement slips within agreed contract certainty deadlines.
• Assist with the resolution of service issues with insurers and other third-party providers.
• Undertake technical reviews (where identified) of insurance programmes for clients, making recommendations for change, where deemed relevant.
• Undertake appropriate benchmarking for clients on their programme limits, coverage and deductibles as required.
• Maintain current knowledge of cover written by the major insurers and communicate to appropriate Associates.
• Keep abreast of insurance market developments and communicate to those Associates as deemed appropriate.
• Constantly monitor the market in order to consider the most appropriate placement strategy for Lockton clients.
• Support on new business opportunities driving organisational revenue growth.
• Provide support in drafting reports/presentations/bulletins for use both internally and externally.
• Drive team efficiencies through innovative input on new products and process.
