Job summary

The Cardiff Council’s Development and Regeneration team is seeking a Project Manager (Place) to shape neighbourhood placemaking plans and capital projects across Cardiff. You will collaborate with communities, partners and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, inclusive places that respond to local needs and wellbeing.

You will lead design briefs, feasibility studies and engagement approaches, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and managing budgets, programmes and risks to deliver complex

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in urban design, architecture, planning or related field.
• Experience in urban design, placemaking or regeneration.
• Experience leading or supporting community engagement processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design briefs, feasibility studies and option development for placemaking projects.
• Engage residents and stakeholders to reflect local needs and lived experience.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage risks, budgets and procurement to deliver complex projects on time.
