This position is located in the Predictive Modeling and Data Analytics chapter within the Pharmaceutical Sciences function, focusing on generating insights from data. We collaborate closely with therapeutic areas and functions to convert hypotheses into innovative therapeutics.

Job mission

As part of our team of data insights experts, you will support the organization in generating deep insights from data, driving our journey to become a data-savvy, efficient, and data-driven organization. You will contribute to our primary goal of developing safe and efficacious drugs, creating exceptional value for our portfolio and patients.

Your impact

  • Lead the creation of pooled and ready-to-use pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) modeling datasets (NONMEM datasets) and descriptive datasets in compliance with Roche internal guidelines, SOPs, and Health Authority guidelines through high-quality programs.
  • Lead the creation of PK non-compartmental analysis (NCA) datasets in compliance with Roche internal guidelines, SOPs, and Health Authority guidelines through high-quality programs.
  • Conduct exploratory graphical analyses and model-based graphical analyses using existing PK/PD models and Bayesian feedback analysis in consultation with clinical pharmacometricians.
  • Contribute to process-improvement initiatives.
  • Seek improvements in data automation, processing, management, and decision-making processes such as data visualization and interpretation.

Your profile

  • Master of Science or Bachelor of Science (BSc) or equivalent experience in Mathematics and Statistics.
  • Proficient in SAS and/or R.
  • Ability to process information, analyze data, and reach conclusions based on sound reasoning.
  • Good understanding of the drug development process, including global clinical trial practices, procedures, and methodologies.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • You are customer-obsessed, putting yourself in your customers' shoes and acting boldly to bring better results to patients.
  • You exhibit a growth mindset, seeking feedback, embracing new skills, and providing honest feedback to others.

This position is located in Basel or Welwyn.
