Job summary

Franco Manca in London is seeking a Pizza Second Chef to support the Head Chef and keep the heart of our pizzeria beating strong. You will help deliver consistently amazing food, lead on key kitchen areas, train junior team members, and stay calm under pressure in a busy, fast-paced environment with a focus on sourdough pizza and quality ingredients.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience in a busy environment.
• Strong understanding of food prep, hygiene and service.
• Be passionate about cooking and delivering high-quality food.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Deliver consistently amazing food and ensure every pizza is a masterpiece.
• Own key kitchen areas from prep to safety and quality control.
• Train and support junior team members and lead when Head Chef is absent.
• Maintain composure under pressure and lead the team on duty.
• Hands-on role from dough stretching to pizza creation.
