Overview
We cater for a wide range of hospitality services, from tea and coffee for five to hospitality functions for 1,000, conference and events business and the BRDC clubhouse. We operate 52 weeks a year, seven days a week, delivering over 30,000 business lunches annually. Our new Karting Track will feature an in‑house operated pizza restaurant and bar, open to spectators, the public, and offering a delivery service across the venue.

Job Purpose
To supervise members of operational front‑of‑house (FOH) staff within the catering department in delivering excellent customer service and standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure catering areas are clean and tidy before, during and after each shift.
- Understand fast‑paced Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) / Pizza lead restaurant operation.
- Keep all stock in date and rotate appropriately to reduce wastage.
- Set down catering areas in preparation for operational days.
- Supervise FOH staff in the operational running of a catering area on any given day.
- Maintain high standards of service at all times.
- Ensure food is served and presented in accordance with company standards.
- Assist customers with queries in a professional, courteous and friendly manner.
- Complete and file all food safety documents accurately.
- Pass necessary documentation to the Duty Manager upon closing.
Team Responsibilities
- Adhere to Hygiene, Health and Safety rules and best practice at all times to ensure compliance with current legislation.
- Maintain a clean and tidy workplace in compliance with Food Safety laws.
- Work with Catering Managers to build a culture of teamwork with chefs and FOH personnel, ensuring smooth operation of all catering areas.
- Promote excellent customer service.
- Participate in staff training as required.
- Assist with other areas of the catering operation when required.
- Follow cash handling procedures accurately as instructed by management.
- Help the team achieve sales targets.
- Ensure point‑of‑sale products are optimally displayed to drive sales.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Excellent customer and client awareness at all times.

- Full clean UK driving licence.
- Knowledge of and qualifications relating to food handling, COSHH and HACCP is desirable.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
- Relevant sector experience within QSR / Pizza restaurant.
