Job summary

The Great Decoy in Hampshire is seeking a Pizza Chef to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and cook pizzas to a consistently high standard, from dough preparation to firing each pizza, while working with the Head Chef to grow your skills.

• Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard during service.
• Work alongside the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop knowledge and confidence in the kitchen.
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health and safety standards.
• Helping to support and guide junior members of the team.
• Keeping your section organised, stocked and running smoothly.
• Taking pride in every pizza that leaves the pass.
• Playing your part in a kitchen that works hard, looks after each other and enjoys what it does.

The Great Decoy | Hampshire

We’re looking for a Pizza Chef to join the kitchen team at The Great Decoy, our beautiful countryside pub in Hampshire.

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves pizza, takes pride in their craft and wants to work withgreat produce and a team that genuinely cares about what they do.

You’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking our pizzas to a consistently high standard — from making and proving fresh dough to stretching, topping and firing each pizza with care. You’ll also have the opportunity to develop your skills in the kitchen more broadly, alongside a dedicated Head Chef.
