Thorn Baker Recruitment in Port Isaac is seeking an experienced Pitch Roofer for a roofing project. You will be responsible for pitched roofing work on site and must install and fix roof tiles or slates.

You will measure, cut and fit roofing materials accurately, complete ridge/hip and verge work, and maintain safety at height. The role starts ASAP for a 1-week duration and requires own tools and a CSCS card. Reliable, hardworking and able to work both independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Pitch Roofer.
• Good knowledge of pitched roofing techniques and materials.
• Valid CSCS card appropriate to the role and site requirements.
• Relevant roofing qualifications and experience.
• Own tools and appropriate PPE.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out pitched roofing work as required on site.
• Installing and fixing roof tiles or slates.
• Measuring, cutting and fitting roofing materials accurately.
• Completing ridge, hip and verge work where required.
• Ensuring roofing work is completed to a professional standard.
• Working safely at height and following all site health and safety procedures.
