Thorn Baker Construction in Port Isaac is seeking an experienced Pitch Roofer for a roofing project. The successful candidate will carry out pitched roofing work to a high standard, ensuring safety and efficiency on site.

The role is a 1-week assignment starting ASAP, with duties including installing tiles/slates, measuring and cutting materials, and completing ridge/ verge work while maintaining site health and safety practices.

Formación

• Previous experience as a Pitch Roofer.
• Good knowledge of pitched roofing techniques and materials.
• Valid CSCS card appropriate to the role and site requirements.
• Own tools and appropriate PPE.

We are currently looking for an experienced Pitch Roofer for a roofing project based in Port Isaac.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out pitched roofing work to a high standard, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with site requirements.

Duties will include:

Carrying out pitched roofing work as required on site.

Installing and fixing roof tiles or slates.

Measuring, cutting and fitting roofing materials accurately.

Completing ridge, hip and verge work where required.

Ensuring roofing work is completed to a professional standard.

Working safely at height and following all site health and safety procedures.

Keeping the work area clean and tidy.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Pitch Roofer.

Good knowledge of pitched roofing techniques and materials.

Relevant roofing qualifications and experience.

Own tools and appropriate PPE.

Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently or as part of a team.
