The Job Mission
You will play a crucial role as a Mechanical Engineer on the Hinkley Point C project, fully embedded into the client function. You will be reporting to the Engineering Lead, and your expertise will ensure that the mechanical equipment meets stringent safety and regulatory standards, while interfacing with various stakeholders to resolve complex design challenges.This is a hybrid role, with three days based in the office and two days working from home.
Key Responsibilities:
Essential Skills:
Extensive experience working on a large construction project.
Experience in mechanical installation and/or commissioning.
Strong understanding of industry standards such as BS, CDM, EN, ASME.
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Desired Skills:
Experience in multidisciplinary technical environments.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Understanding of welding techniques would be an advantage, but not essential.
Experience in a site-based engineering role.
