Job summary

Venatu Consulting Ltd, on behalf of our client, seeks a Pressure Testing Operative based in South Yorkshire with UK-wide travel. The role involves testing gas and water pipelines on diverse projects across the UK.

You will perform hydrostatic and pneumatic tests, liaise with project managers and clients, and assist in planning and delivery. Strong safety focus, 2+ years in utilities, and a driving license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in utilities or construction.
• 2+ years pressure testing on PE and Ductile Iron pipelines.
• Must understand hydrostatic testing standards (WIS 7-01-03, IGN 4-01-03).
• Full UK driving license mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Test gas and water pipelines on various UK projects.
• Carry out hydrostatic and pneumatic tests on specified pipe work.
• Liaise with project managers, coworkers and clients.
• Perform site surveys, flow checks, defect reports, assist planning and procurement.
• Implement safe working areas.
