Job summary

Venatu Consulting Ltd is seeking a Project Manager for gas and water utilities with responsibility for overseeing UK-wide projects from inception to completion. The role requires liaising with clients, managing budgets and ensuring safety and quality standards across sites.

Applicants should have a background in construction or engineering, at least 3 years in a similar role, and a valid driving licence. A commercial mindset, strong organisation skills and proactive communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in utilities or construction industry essential.
• Minimum 3 years in a similar role.
• Commercial and contract awareness.
• Driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple UK projects to meet service, quality and costs targets.
• Liaise with clients to discuss requirements and resolve issues.
• Ensure quality and efficiency from inception to completion.
• Conduct pre-contract site visits and ongoing site visits.
• Estimate costs and manage contract budgets.
• Implement Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Oversee site operatives, subcontractors, plant and supply chain.
• Handle costing, invoicing, variations and procurement.
