Job summary

Site Operative Solutions Limited in Steeton is recruiting for a Contract Pipefitter for a 6-week assignment commencing ASAP. You will install, maintain and repair piping systems to project specifications and collaborate with the site team to hit deadlines.

You must hold relevant plumbing or pipefitting qualifications, a CSCS card and asbestos awareness. Read drawings and pipe schematics; prior experience on similar projects is essential. Overtime rates apply for evenings and weekends.

Job description

Contract Pipefitter role in Steeton for a duration of 6 weeks.

The position starts ASAP and is expected to last for 6 weeks.

• Install, maintain, and repair piping systems in line with project requirements and specifications.
• Work collaboratively with the site team to ensure project deadlines are met and safety standards are upheld.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and pipe schematics.

• Relevant qualifications in plumbing or Pipefitting, Gold card required, Asbestos awareness
• Proven experience as a Pipefitter or plumber with a track record of working on similar projects.
• Valid certifications including CSCS card and relevant health and safety qualifications.

Rates are in line with JIB Standard (PAYE) ,

Monday to Friday 1st 37.5hrs - £21.39 per hour

After 37.5hrs Monday to Friday and 1st 6hrs Saturday - £30.21 per hour

After 6hrs Saturday and all day Sunday - £39.03 per hour

Mon - Thur 07:00am - 16:00pm (ot until 6pm available)

Friday 07:00am - 13:00pm
