Job summary

Ambitek Limited is seeking an experienced pipefitter for a long‑term contract in Widnes. The role covers workshop fabrication plus local site installation, working from engineering and isometric drawings to ensure safe, high‑quality workmanship.

You will need time‑served experience, NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Pipefitting or Mechanical Engineering, and a valid Safety Passport (CSCS/CCNSG/EMSS). There is excellent overtime and weekly pay on offer.

Job description

Ambitek is currently recruiting for experienced Pipefitters to join our client's team on a long-term contract. This role offers a combination of workshop-based fabrication in Widnes and local site installation work, providing variety and consistent work.

Role

• Pipefitting within the workshop in Widnes
• Installation and fitting work on local industrial sites
• Working from engineering drawings and isometric drawings
• Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard

Requirements

• Time‑served pipefitter
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Pipefitting or Mechanical Engineering
• Valid CSCS, CCNSG, or EMSS Safety Passport
• Previous industrial pipefitting experience
• Ability to work both in the workshop and on local sites

Pay Rates (LTD / CIS / Umbrella)

• Basic: £24.05 per hour (First 8 hours, Monday–Friday)
• Overtime 1: £28.70 per hour (After 8 hours Monday–Friday and the first 6 hours on Saturday)
• Overtime 2: £33.35 per hour (After 6 hours on Saturday and all hours worked on Sunday)
