Job summary

Engineering Direct Ltd is seeking experienced Pipefitter Welders to join our expanding team, delivering hygienic stainless steel pipework across the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and manufacturing sectors in South Wales.

You will TIG weld stainless steel, read drawings and isometrics, and maintain high sanitary standards on process pipe installations. A full welding set is essential, and a minimum of 50 hours per week is expected. Rate: £30-£35 per hour. CSCS/site certifications are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience in hygienic stainless steel pipefitting and welding.
• Strong TIG welding skills on stainless steel.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings and isometrics.
• Experience working to high sanitary and hygienic standards.
• Own full Welding Set.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and installation of stainless steel pipework.
• TIG welding of hygienic stainless steel systems.
• Working on process pipe installations and upgrades.

Location: South Wales
Rate: £30.00 - £35.00 per hour
Ongoing works available for the right candidate.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in hygienic stainless steel pipefitting and welding
• Strong TIG welding skills on stainless steel
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings and isometrics
• Experience working to high sanitary and hygienic standards
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety conscious
• CSCS/Site certifications are beneficial

It is essential you have your own, full Welding Set.
