Job summary

Empower Talent in Bridge of Weir is seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter/Welder for a permanent role. The position blends workshop fabrication with installation across Ayrshire, with regular travel to customer sites. 39-hour week and enhanced overtime rates are typical.

You will fabricate, assemble and install industrial pipework, TIG weld stainless and carbon steel, and read drawings while maintaining high weld quality. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in pipe fitting and fabrication for industrial systems.
• Strong TIG welding experience preferred on stainless and carbon steel.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and isometrics.
• Good workmanship and attention to detail; full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricating and installing stainless steel and carbon steel pipework.
• TIG welding pipe assemblies and components.
• Measuring, cutting, fitting and preparing pipework and materials.
• Working from engineering drawings and isometrics.
• Workshop fabrication and assembly.
• Installing and modifying pipework systems on customer sites.
• Inspecting completed work and maintaining weld quality; work safely and with the team.
