Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear invites an experienced Pipefitter Superintendent to join the MEH Alliance at Hinkley Point C. You will lead safety, production, and subcontractor coordination, delivering complex piping and cabling systems on a major nuclear project.

Day and night shifts available, with excellent benefits and long-term career growth. You will oversee progress, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor trainees in a high-stakes industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pipefitter Superintendent on engineering projects.
• Nuclear power experience is preferred.
• Experience on major construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead on Safety and Production and champion nuclear safety culture.
• Oversee delivery of work scopes; identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain regulatory adherence and procedures.
• Manage project progress; schedule, track, and issue daily reports.
• Liaise with stakeholders; attend progress meetings.
• Ensure trainees and apprentices receive varied experience.
• Manage and coordinate sub-contractors.
• Work within the MEH Alliance to deliver piping and cabling systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead on Safety and Production: Champion nuclear safety culture while maximising team productivity.
• Oversee efficient delivery of work scopes, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Maintain adherence to regulations, agreements, and procedures.
• Manage Project Progress: Schedule, track progress, and issue daily reports to relevant stakeholders.
• Liaise with Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal and external parties (HPC representatives, Client etc.), attend progress meetings as required.
• Ensure trainees and apprentices receive appropriate and varied experience and training within the confines of the work allocated.
• Manage and co-ordinate sub-contractors.
• Work within the MEH Alliance, collaborating effectively to deliver complex piping and cabling systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pipefitter Superintendent within an engineering project.
• Proven track record in nuclear power preferred.
• Experience working on major construction projects.
