Job summary

Nuclear Inst in the United Kingdom is recruiting an experienced Pipefitter for a major energy infrastructure project in Somerset. You will install and fabricate piping systems within a highly regulated engineering environment, contributing to a landmark project with long-term work and excellent career prospects.

Qualifications

• Full Level 3 Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Pipefitting or pipework fabrication.
• Experience with pressure pipework installation and superheater headers.
• Experience on outages, shutdowns, major projects or new-build sites.
• Sectors: Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Thermal Power, Heavy Engineering Construction.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble pipework using specialist tools and techniques.
• Install and secure piping systems in line with detailed specifications.
• Test and inspect pipework to ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery.
• Prepare work areas and maintain health and safety procedures.
• Assist Supervisors to ensure work is carried out efficiently and to standards.
• Support the successful delivery of critical mechanical systems.
