Job summary

AA Euro Group is recruiting Pipefitters for the Hinkley Point C Nuclear Power Station project. This is a growth opportunity to contribute to the UK's first 3rd generation nuclear plant and its clean energy future.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacture and installation of pressure pipe work including superheater headers and vessels.
• Experience in TARs, outages, projects, or new builds on engineering construction sites (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Thermal, Nuclear).
• Full apprenticeship in pipefitting or equivalent qualification (NVQ 3, ACE Card).
• CCNSG Safety Passport and IOSH Managing Safety certification preferred.

• Fabricate and assemble pipes using specialised tools and techniques.

The Role

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.

You are a great fit if you have:

• Proven experience in the manufacture of small and large bore pressure pipe work, as well as experience in the installation of pressure pipe work, superheater headers and vessels.
• Experience of working on TARs, outages, projects, or new builds within an engineering construction site environment including experience in one or more of the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Thermal or Nuclear sectors.
• Hold a full apprenticeship in pipefitting or an equivalent qualification (NVQ 3, ACE Card).
• Possess a CCNSG Safety Passport and ideally IOSH Managing Safety certification.

Payrates:

• £29.34/hr basic (first 38hours/week)
• £39.46/hr overtimes rate A (after 38 hours/week- starts from Friday Morning until Midday Saturday)
• £50.73 Overtimes rate B ( From Midday Saturday to Sunday 12pm)
• Accommodation allowance: £355.67/week (tax free)
