Ogenus Offshore is a manpower company based in the UK and Greece, providing skilled personnel to the energy sector. We support our clients with workforce solutions for offshore and onshore projects worldwide. This position is being offered on behalf of one of our trusted clients.

The Role
  1. Coordinate and control the work of the dependent team based on piping Scope of Work assigned.
  2. Distribute equipment to enable the team to perform the assigned activities.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure that operators and all team personnel strictly observe applicable safety standards.
  2. Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with project quality requirements.
  3. Analyze received drawings from the works supervisor and give instructions to the team for execution.
  4. Coordinate and check the work carried out by the team, reporting any difficulties to the works supervisor.
  5. Organize all means, equipment, and materials necessary for the work, check compliance, report anomalies, and coordinate corrective actions.
  6. Liaise with the works supervisor to optimize the use of equipment and personnel.
  7. Carry out daily toolbox talks.
  8. Ensure adherence to the planned time frame.
  9. Ensure that any modifications during work are marked on drawings for As Built documentation.
  10. Provide data on quantities produced/installed and on manpower, equipment, tools, and materials used to the works supervisor.
  11. Implement the permit-to-work system.
  12. Liaise with other disciplines during ongoing operations.
  13. Maintain housekeeping at the work location.
What We’re Looking For
  1. Experience of 10 to 15 years in a similar position.
  2. Experience with welding applications for 3-5 years or more.
  3. Knowledge of Manual SMAW/FCAW welding processes.
  4. Knowledge of cutting and trimming applications (cold and hot cutting).
  5. Knowledge of oxyacetylene and plasma cutting applications.
  6. Knowledge of milling, turning, and lathe machine applications.
  7. Knowledge of drilling applications.
  8. Work experience with isometric drawings, bevel designs, fittings, torquing, steel fabrication and erection, lifting and rigging operations, installation, and assembly.
  9. Experience working with materials such as carbon steel flowline, clad, Inconel 625/825, stainless steel 314L, 316L.
  10. Proven experience on pipeline scope onshore and offshore.
  11. Experience with heavy fabrication yards, refineries, power plants, shipyards, offshore jacket installation, wind farm installation, deck, conductors, piling, boat landing installation.
