Job summary

Fulcrum Engineering is seeking skilled Pipe TIG/MMA Welders & Fabricators/Fitters for temporary contract roles in the Haverhill/ Stradishall area. Roles involve welding 2–6 inch pipe to coded specs, fabricating and installing modified pipework from drawings or site runs, and working on HVAC or mechanical systems installation and maintenance.

Candidates should be able to move pipe spools, valves and supports, assist with checks and reinstatement fitting work, and operate on various pipe sizes

Qualifications

• Welding of 2–6 inch stainless and carbon pipe to coded specs.
• Fabrication and installation of modified pipework from drawings or site runs.
• Ability to work on 1/2–2 inch screwed and maypress pipework and 2–6 inch flanged and welded pipework.

Responsibilities

• Move pipe spools, valves and supports to lay down areas.
• Assist with checks and reinstatement fitting work.
• Fabricate and install new pipework to drawings or site runs.
• Work on HVAC or mechanical systems installations and maintenance.
• Assist with safe removal of piping and related systems.

Fulcrum Engineering & Technical are acting as a Employment Business on behalf of our Clients

Covering Haverhill. Stradishall. Bury St Eds area Sites

We are recruiting personnel at all levels and covering similar roles,

Pipe TIG Welders & Pipe MMA Welders Working on welding 2 - 6 inch stainless and carbon pipe to coded specs.

Pipe Fabricators/Fitters and

HVAC or Mechanical Engineers or Techs & Fitters

Working Install & Maintenance Work. Working on the safe removal of Piping, HVAC, Mechanical systems

Moving pipe spools, valves, supports from work place areas to lay down areas.

Then assisting with completing checks and reinstatement fitting work.

Fabrication & installing new modified Pipework to drawings or site run work.

Working on 1/2 - 2 inch screwed & maypress pipework & 2 - 6 inch flanged & welded pipework

Hours = 0700 to 1730 48 to 55 + hours Mon to Fri as required

Also might work 0600 or 0700 to 1330 Sat as required

Term = Temp Contract 6 to 13 + weeks & Contract Temp

Pay Temp Contract Skilled = £28 + per Hr up to 60 Hrs Sat £35 per Hr Sun £38v per Hr

Depending on Skills/Quals Semi Skilled Mates = £19 to £23 + Hr

Travel Pay = Maybe depending on distance from personal address to Site

Lodge Pay = Maybe depending on distance from personal address to Site
