Interaction Engineering is seeking experienced Pipe Laggers to join our client's team on commercial, industrial and mechanical services projects. You will install thermal and acoustic insulation to pipework and plant, reading specifications and working to project programmes.

You should have proven insulation experience, read drawings, own hand tools, and be comfortable working at height. The role offers regular, long-term work and competitive rates, with potential overtime.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as a Pipe Lagger or in mechanical insulation.
• Experience on commercial, industrial or construction sites.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• PASMA and/or IPAF desirable; asbestos awareness training desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Installing insulation to pipework, valves, fittings and ductwork.
• Measuring, cutting and fitting insulation materials accurately.
• Fitting aluminium, stainless steel or PVC cladding where required.
• Working from drawings, specifications and instructions from supervisors.
• Ensuring all work meets quality standards and project deadlines.
• Working safely at height, using access equipment such as scaffolds and towers.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area.
• Complying with all health and safety procedures, including RAMS.
• Working independently and as part of a team.

About the Role

We are currently looking for experienced Pipe Laggers to join our client's team on a range of commercial, industrial and mechanical services projects. The successful candidates will install thermal and acoustic insulation to pipework and associated plant, working to a high standard and in line with project programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Installing insulation to pipework, valves, fittings and ductwork


• Measuring, cutting and fitting insulation materials accurately


• Fitting aluminium, stainless steel or PVC cladding where required


• Working from drawings, specifications and instructions from supervisors


• Ensuring all work meets quality standards and project deadlines


• Working safely at height, using access equipment such as scaffolds and towers


• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area


• Complying with all health and safety procedures, including RAMS

Requirements

• Valid CSCS card (or relevant card, such as ECS or JIB)


• PASMA and/or IPAF (desirable)

• Experience with cladding (desirable but not essential)
