Job summary

Fulcrum Engineering is recruiting for pipe welding and fabrication roles in the Haverhill area, covering Stradishall and Bury St Eds. Roles include TIG and MMA welding, fabricating and installing pipework up to 2–6 inches, and assisting with checks and reinstatement fittings on site.

Shifts are 7:00–17:30 with 48–55+ hours Mon–Fri and potential Saturday starts. Temp contracts of 6–13+ weeks; skilled rates £28+ per hour, with Saturday £35 and Sunday £38 per hour. Travel/lodge pay may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience welding 2–6 inch stainless and carbon pipe to coded specs.
• Fabrication and installation of new pipework per drawings or site runs.
• Possibility of shifts including early starts and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Weld pipe (TIG/MMA) 2–6 inch stainless and carbon per specs.
• Move pipe spools, valves, supports between work areas.
• Assist with checks and reinstatement fitting work.
• Fabricate and install modified pipework to drawings or site runs.
• Travel and lodge pay may be applicable.

We are recruiting personnel at all levels and covering similar roles,

Pipe TIG Welders & Pipe MMA Welders Working on welding 2 - 6 inch stainless and carbon pipe to coded specs.

Pipe Fabricators/Fitters and

HVAC or Mechanical Engineers or Techs & Fitters

Working Install & Maintenance Work. Working on the safe removal of Piping, HVAC, Mechanical systems

Moving pipe spools, valves, supports from work place areas to lay down areas.

Then assisting with completing checks and reinstatement fitting work.

Fabrication & installing new modified Pipework to drawings or site run work.

Working on 1/2 - 2 inch screwed & maypress pipework & 2 - 6 inch flanged & welded pipework

Hours = 0700 to 1730 48 to 55 + hours Mon to Fri as required

Also might work 0600 or 0700 to 1330 Sat as required

Term = Temp Contract 6 to 13 + weeks & Contract Temp

Pay Temp Contract Skilled = £28 + per Hr up to 60 Hrs Sat £35 per Hr Sun £38v per Hr

Depending on Skills/Quals Semi Skilled Mates = £19 to £23 + Hr

Travel Pay = Maybe depending on distance from personal address to Site

Lodge Pay = Maybe depending on distance from personal address to Site
