Omnia Inclusive Employment Solutions Ltd is recruiting experienced Pipe Fitters for a leading engineering and manufacturing company based in Deeside, North Wales, working on major UK nuclear projects. You will fabricate, fit and assemble stainless steel and carbon steel pipework, read drawings to specification, and ensure quality and safety standards are met in a nuclear

Qualifications

Previous experience working as a Pipe Fitter within engineering/manufacturing or industrial environments.
Experience fitting and assembling stainless steel and carbon steel pipework.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Experience with pipe fit-up, alignment and tack welding.
TIG welding experience would be advantageous.
Apprenticeship/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

Carry out pipe fitting, fabrication and assembly of stainless steel and carbon steel pipework.
Fit up, align and tack weld pipe spools to engineering specifications.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication instructions.
Ensure all work meets nuclear industry quality and safety standards.
Carry out accurate measurements, preparation and positioning of pipework.
Identify and report any quality issues or safety concerns.
Work closely with welders and other members of the manufacturing team.

Pipe Fitter - Nuclear Manufacturing

Location: Deeside, North Wales

Salary: £48,438 basic per annum

Overtime: £34.78 - £44.71 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Hours: Monday - Thursday 07:00-15:30 | Friday 07:00-12:30

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for experienced Pipe Fitters to join a leading engineering and manufacturing company based at a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Deeside.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term, permanent position working on major UK nuclear projects, offering excellent rates of pay, premium overtime, an uncapped bonus scheme and an early finish every Friday.

You will be responsible for the fabrication, fitting and assembly of stainless steel pipe spools and carbon steel pipe support structures, ensuring all work meets the strict quality and safety standards required within the nuclear industry.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out pipe fitting, fabrication and assembly of stainless steel and carbon steel pipework.
Fit up, align and tack weld pipe spools to engineering specifications.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication instructions.
Ensure all work meets nuclear industry quality and safety standards.
