Job summary

Altrad Services A/S is seeking experienced Pipefitters to support major UK projects, including opportunities within the nuclear sector. Qualified welders are encouraged to express interest for 2026 and beyond.

Roles offer competitive NAECI rates, testing opportunities now, and the chance to work on nationally significant infrastructure projects. Read drawings, fabricate and install pipework, and perform quality checks.

Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship in Pipefitting or a related engineering discipline.
• Relevant Level 3 qualification (NVQ or equivalent) or industry-recognised pipefitting certification.
• CCNSG Safety Passport preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Fabricate, assemble and install a range of metal and plastic pipework systems.
• Cut, bend, shape and fit pipework to required standards.
• Prepare pipework and flanges for welding and installation.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Install prefabricated pipework on site.
• Operate workshop machinery, tools, overhead cranes and oxy-fuel equipment safely.
• Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures, including Firewatch duties where required.
