Job summary

Ford & Stanley Talent Services Group Ltd is seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join our rail-focused engineering team in Milton Keynes. You will undertake full overhaul of passenger trains, assembling and fitting pipework and mechanical components to rail vehicles with accuracy.

Ideal candidates will have hands‑on experience in pipe fitting, brazing, and installations, plus the ability to read engineering drawings and work from instruction.

Qualifications

• You’ll bring experience of Pipe Fitting.
• A background from sectors such as HVAC, Brazing, Pipe installations, Plumbing.
• Experience of using hand and power tooling.
• Have a strong attention to detail and producing a high quality finish.
• Able to work on your own and as part of a team.
• Confidence working rotating shifts, including earlies, lates.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the Pipe assembly and fit of mechanical components to rail vehicles.
• Measuring, cutting and beding pipework systems on Rail vehicles.
• Brazing and Joining activities.
• Must be able to work from engineering drawings and instruction.

Pipe Fitter

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £36,750 to £39,990 per year depending on experience

Shift uplift of 12.5% available (£41,343 to £44,988)

Shift Pattern: 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm
