Carbon60 is seeking a pipe fitter for a 3-month contract to support a live manufacturing facility project in Glossop, SK13 7AJ. You will work Monday to Friday, 7:30am–5:30pm, on site, installing stainless steel and carbon steel pipework for new production machinery and equipment.

Suitable candidates will have demonstrable experience in fitting stainless steel and carbon steel pipework in food, drink or petrochemical processing environments, with CSCS/CCNSG; IPAF preferred.

• Ability to install 1"–4" OD thin wall stainless pipework up to 4" diameter and carbon steel up to 6".

This is an excellent opportunity for a pipe fitter to join the Mechanical division, supporting a pipework and plant installation project at a manufacturing facility in Glossop, SK13 7AJ.

Duties

As a suitably qualified and experienced pipe fitter you will be working on site at a live manufacturing facility in Glossop, SK13 7AJ. Responsibilities will include installing new stainless steel process pipework to new production machinery and equipment in this new build pilot plant. Typical duties will include installing 1" to 4" OD thin wall stainless steel pipework, with schedule 10 stainless steel pipework up to 4" diameter along with carbon steel up to 6". Other duties will include fitting the associated pipe supports and brackets along with other associated metalwork. The pipe spools are fabricated off site so there may be some modification works.

About You

Based ideally in Derbyshire you will need to live within a commutable distance of SK13 7AJ.

Demonstrable experience of fitting stainless steel and carbon steel pipework within a food, drink or petro chemical processing environment is essential. You'll also need to have good all-round mechanical fitting experience.

CSCS or CCNSG are required IPAF is preferred.

In return for your experience, you will receive an hourly rate between £30.00CIS and £35.00CIS per hour as well as a range of benefits.
