The Pipe Fabricator Welder – TIG Process Pipework role is based in Rushden, Northamptonshire. You will fabricate and butt weld stainless steel and carbon steel pipework up to 6" in a modern workshop, following schedule 10 and jacketed pipes. This contract runs 6 months with potential for further work.

Applicants should have proven TIG welding experience on sanitary and process lines, a hygiene-conscious approach, and the ability to support teammates in a busy production environment.

Formación

• Proven TIG welding and fabrication experience on stainless and carbon steel pipework.
• Experience in a food, beverage, brewery, bakery or dairy processing environment.
• Current or previous welding codes are an advantage.
• Hygiene-conscious approach to quality.

Responsabilidades

• Fabricating and butt welding 1"-4" OD thin wall stainless steel pipework.
• Working on schedule 10 stainless steel up to 4", plus 3" and 4" jacketed pipework.
• Welding carbon steel up to 6".
• Fabricating and welding brackets, supports and associated metalwork.
• Supporting fellow welders where needed.

Our client is a process engineering specialist supplying the food, beverage, brewery, bakery and dairy sectors. They offer a single point of contact from design and installation through to commissioning, service and long-term support. Hygienic process pipework is a core strength, covering CIP, steam, water, glycol and food ingredient lines. Their approach is practical, detail-focused and built around quality delivery on time and on budget.

The role

You'll work in a modern, well-equipped, well-ventilated workshop. Day to day, you'll be:

• Fabricating and butt welding 1"-4" OD thin wall stainless steel pipework
• Working on schedule 10 stainless steel up to 4", plus 3" and 4" jacketed pipework
• Welding carbon steel up to 6"
• Fabricating and welding brackets, supports and associated metalwork
• Supporting fellow welders where needed

About you

• Living within commuting distance of NN10 6FD, ideally in Northamptonshire
• Proven TIG welding and fabrication experience on stainless and carbon steel pipework in a food, drink or petrochemical processing environment (essential)
• Solid all-round welding skills, with current or previous coding a definite advantage
• A hygiene-conscious approach to quality
