Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is hiring a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor in Bradford. This hybrid role combines home working with assessment centre days and focuses on clinical reasoning, analysis and report writing rather than hands-on care.

You'll be an NMC or HCPC registered professional (Nurse, Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist) with at least one year of UK clinical experience, and you'll complete PIP assessments and produce detailed reports in line with standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist with active NMC/HCPC registration
• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions
• Minimum 1 year UK clinical experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Confident use of digital systems (35 WPM typing speed)
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face and telephone PIP assessments in a professional and empathetic manner
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information
• Produce accurate, detailed and evidence-based written reports
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks
• Engage positively with feedback and development opportunities
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues
• Attend the assessment centre as required
