Medacs Healthcare is recruiting for a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor in Scarborough. This permanent, full-time role combines home working with time at assessment centres, offering stable hours and a balanced pattern.

You will perform PIP functional assessments as an NMC/HCPC registered professional, using clinical reasoning to produce evidence-based reports. The role requires UK clinical experience and active registration, with a structured pay progression, potential bonuses, and

Qualifications

• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions.
• Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident use of digital systems (35 WPM typing speed).
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).
• Experience in functional assessment or advisory roles.
• Confidence in producing high-quality written clinical reports.

Responsibilities

• Face and telephone PIP assessments in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information.
• Produce accurate, detailed and evidence-based written reports.
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks.
• Engage positively with feedback and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues.
• Attend the assessment centre as required.
