Job summary

Thames Valley Police is seeking a proactive PIP 2 Investigator to join our dedicated team in Maidenhead. You will lead complex investigations, work with victims and partner agencies to deliver high-quality, victim-focused outcomes, and travel as required across the Force.

The role requires strong communication, analytical and decision-making skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A full driving licence is essential for lone working and travel.

DAIU are seeking a motivated PIP 2 Investigator to join our dedicated team. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex and sensitive investigations, working closely with victims and partner agencies to deliver high quality, victim focused outcomes. If you are passionate about safeguarding, achieving justice and making a real difference to those affected by domestic abuse please consider this position.

It is essential that you have effective communication skills with the ability to communicate with a wide audience along with proven analytical and decision-making skills. You will also be self- motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision.

Capability to travel across the Force is required in order to undertake assignments in a timely manner and work flexibly. Due to unsocial hours and personal safety for lone working public transport may not be suitable. For this reason, a full driving licence is considered essential for this role.

If you are a TVP employee and have you been in your current post for less than 12 months, you need to seek approval from your line manager to be eligible to apply for this role.
