Thames Valley Police in Reading (Hybrid) is recruiting for a Case Disposals Administrator in Criminal Justice (Secondment/Fixed Term). You will update PNC with Court Results, provide disclosures to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority, and liaise with officers and staff while handling your own caseload to meet deadlines.

The role requires a solid administrative background, strong communication, and the ability to work across multiple locations with occasional travel.

Band 2E, circa £28,410 per annum, plus 3.5% shift allowance, plus benefits

Part/Full Time Full Time - All roles are available for flexible working including job sharing and part-time unless there are legitimate operational / business reasons why this cannot be accommodated

As part of the Case Disposals Team, you will be responsible for updating PNC with Court Results and providing disclosure to Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority and liaising with Officers and staff. You will be responsible for managing your own case load to complete disclosure within the required target date.

You will be required to converse concisely and professionally in both the written form and verbally with internal and external partners. This role is a Hybrid position so flexible working will apply once successful training and integration to the role/team has been achieved..

You will need to have a good standard of education and recent experience of working in an administrative role within a customer service environment together with proven written and verbal communication skills. The ability to use your own initiative and problem solve within a team environment, whilst maintaining attention to detail is essential together with proven time management and organisational skills. A full UK driving licence is considered essential as you may need the capability to travel to different locations across the force.

If you are a permanent member of staff applying for this role, please note it will be offered on a secondment basis. Important: All secondments must be supported in writing by your Line Manager and Head of Department/Commander or Deputy. If the secondment is not supported then the role may be offered on a fixed term contract basis, but this has implications including loss of continuous service protections.

Please note: Shift allowance, on-call or other job related allowances from the previous role will not be protected unless they are attached to the new role for the duration of the secondment.
