Job summary

Pioneering Medicines, part of Flagship Pioneering, is seeking a Co-Op to join the Technical Operations Team to advance cutting-edge biologics. You will work in the lab, help develop and evaluate formulations for biologics across multiple therapeutic areas, and contribute to a collaborative, founder-driven environment.

The role offers hands-on experience in a biotech setting with mentorship from scientists, and is paid at an hourly rate with a full-time, 40-hour work week in office.

Responsibilities

• The preparation of biologics formulation vehicles

• The evaluation of biologics/RNA, and formulations using cutting edge analytical approaches
• The examination of drug product characteristics and stability for pre-clinical use
• Routine documentation and presentation of data to cross-functional team members

This position is open exclusively to current Northeastern University Co-Op students. Work Period: January 2027 to June 2027. This is a full - time, 40 hours per week position with 5 days in office.

This is an exciting opportunity that will offer valuable experience in the biotech industry. We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate to function under the guidance and expertise of scientists in Pioneering Medicines’ Technical Operations Team. The successful candidate will work in the lab and help develop and evaluate fo rmulations for biologics across multiple therapeutic areas.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Great sense of urgency and willingness to learn and do new things in lab
• Hands-on and lab experience in chemistry, biochemistry, Engineering or related field
• Strong work ethic and a passion for benchwork

• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience or knowledge of the following are a plus (but not strictly necessary):
