Job summary

Pioneer Site Services is seeking an apprentice to learn fire safety, electrical testing and related trades. You’ll train on real systems while gaining a nationally recognised qualification through Skills for Security at the Dagenham centre.

The programme runs with block release (one week every eight weeks), leading to a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship. You’ll build hands-on skills, complete projects, and sit annual assessments.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ due to site restrictions.
• GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above.
• Must be able to pass a DBS check.
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred, would be expected to obtain before end of apprenticeship if you do not have this.

Job Description

As an apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to install, maintain and fault-find on the following systems:

• Fire Protection
• Fire Suppression
• Fire Alarms

Entry Requirements

• Age 18+ due to site restrictions
• Full UK Drivers Licence preferred, would be expected to obtain before end of apprenticeship if you do not have this

Training to be Provided

Your apprenticeship training is delivered by Skills for Security, specialists in fire and security training.

You’ll train through block release at our Dagenham centre, for one week every eight weeks (Tuesday–Friday).

You’ll work towards a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship, gaining real skills and a nationally recognised qualification.
