Van Elle in Kirkby-in-Ashfield is hiring Piling Operatives of all levels to join the UK’s leading geotechnical contractor. You’ll be part of a skilled team, with training provided to develop your skills and progress in the role.

You’ll work across piling activities, liaising with your supervisor, supporting delivery, and following safety procedures. The role offers training, development opportunities, and a permanent position within a growing company.

Qualifications

• CSCS card required.
• CPCS (Slinger/Signaller) required as minimum.
• Proven relevant experience in construction or civil engineering, with safety training.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team for all site activities, before, during and after piling activities.
• Liaise and take instructions from your supervisor in a professional manner.
• Support project team and supervisor in efficient delivery of the project.
• Review and understand all method statements and risk assessments relating to the project.
• Be familiar with daily/piling tasks and project safety rules, policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to Health and Safety Policy requirements.
