Job summary

Carmichael UK is seeking a Contracts Engineer to support a major piling project near King's Cross Station. The role focuses on QA, inspection and coordination of piling operations, including secant piled wall techniques.

You will review ITPs, maintain pile records and manage NCRs while liaising with the Project Manager and site team to ensure quality and safety standards across the works.

Qualifications

• Experience with QA processes, ITPs and inspection requirements.
• Experience maintaining site records and logs.
• Ability to coordinate piling sequences with site team.
• CSCS card is essential; other safety training beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage QA and QC for allocated piling operations.
• Review and maintain compliance with ITPs.
• Inspect reinforcement cages on delivery and verify compliance.
• Coordinate piling sequences with Project Manager and site team.
• Complete pile records and logs within required timescales.
• Maintain concrete cube registers and quality documentation.
• Raise and close NCRs where required.
• Ensure records meet project standards and client procedures.
• Support safe delivery of works per procedures.
