Job summary

Astrid & Miyu is seeking a dedicated Piercer for our boutique at Bicester Village. You’ll bring artistry and empathy to every client, guiding them to realise their dream curations with precision and care.

Flexible hours, a friendly team, and a commission structure accompany £17 per hour. We value growth, ownership and customer-first service, and we’ll support your development as you elevate the jewellery experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year piercer experience in a studio.
• Brand ambassador who aligns with our values.
• Positive, energetic, empathetic and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety and hygiene of the studio, maintaining high standards.
• Inspire customers with styling advice and execute precise, aesthetic piercings with attention to detail.
• Host from the Heart, creating a welcoming space where customers feel seen and cared for.
• Lead on the shop floor, sharing expertise to elevate the team and customer experience.

• Inspire our community with styling advice, executing precise and aesthetic piercings - all with a meticulous eye for detail and a genuine love for what you do
• Host from the Heart, creating a warm, intentional space where every customer feels seen, valued and cared for, while holding space with empathy and compassion, especially during sensitive moments
• Lead on the shop floor, sharing your piercing expertise and passion with both customers and your team, inspiring trust and elevating the energy around you

What you'll need to thrive:

• This role is suitable for any Piercers with at least 1 year experience in a studio looking for that next step in their journey

• You're able to stay grounded during more difficult and sensitive interactions, always leading with empathy

The Interview Process and Candidate Experience

1. Values Interview: a 30 min video call with our Talent Team to get to know you better, learning more about your journey, what motivates you and how you like to work.
2. In-Store Technical Interview - you'll meet one of our Piercer Mentors for a Studio Set-Up & Piercing Demo, alongside your Store Manager who will chat through your experience, skill-set and what you’re looking for in your next role.
