Job summary

Hornblower Group is seeking a Guest Experience Assistant – Pier Crew for a seasonal role at London piers including Tower Millennium Pier and Westminster Millennium Pier. You will act as the first point of contact for visitors, working across ticket offices and piers to deliver friendly, proactive service and ensure smooth passenger flow.

You will rotate between sales at the ticket office and guiding boarding, while meeting daily sales targets.

Qualifications

• Previous guest services experience in visitor attractions or hospitality is desirable.
• Experience providing an “At Seat” service is beneficial.
• Strong communication and guest interaction skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a team to meet on-board sales/revenue targets.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional hospitality to guests and colleagues per RESPECT service system.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and assist passengers with boarding and disembarking.
• Process pre-booked vouchers and trade customers at the ticket office accurately.
• Handle ticket discrepancies and communicate delays or cancellations clearly.
• Respond to customer queries with knowledge of London attractions and City Cruises products.
• Assist with daily forms, logs and safety drills as part of the Pier Crew.
