Asda Stores Ltd in Nottingham is recruiting a Picking Manager for our Home Shopping operation. You will lead a team to meet target pick rates and ensure safe, compliant processes across the pick areas.

As part of the leadership group, you will manage a rolling rota that includes weekends, drive standards, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail or logistics team.
• Ability to drive performance and metrics.
• Knowledge of food safety principles and compliance.

About the Role

There's a role for everyone in retail - including leadership. As a Pick Manager in one of our Home Shopping Centres, you'll motivate your team to deliver the best standards, ensuring we meet our customers' expectations. You'll be responsible for managing performance and motivating your colleague's to deliver the target pick rate.

You'll need to ensure the operation runs safely and smoothly as well as drive compliance in pick areas, particularly around food safety.

As part of the leadership team, you'll work on a rolling rota, which will include weekends.

About You

You’ll be able to work in a fast paced environment and be adaptable to change as well as organised, with an eye for standards and commercial awareness.

Having one eye on the ‘big' picture is important as your team works across the entire site to keep the pick moving so orders go out on time.

You’ll be naturally friendly and want to get stuck in, working with your team to deliver great results.

You’ll have an enthusiastic approach and be a strong coach, mentor and motivator as well as role model to the colleagues around you.

At times, you may be solely responsible for the Home Shopping Centre so you'll need to be confident in overseeing the operation as a whole.
