Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd in Eastleigh is seeking an Online Manager to lead the day-to-day online operation in-store. You will engage the team, ensure vans are on the road, and drive data-led decisions for the online shrink agenda with effective rota planning to secure picking accuracy and consistency.

You’ll need prior team leadership experience in online retail, strong organisational and customer-service skills, and flexibility to work days, weekends, and evenings.

Qualifications

• Experience as Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager in a complex online retail environment.
• Operational knowledge of the online retail environment.
• Experience improving availability, picking rate, reducing waste, and shrink management.
• Strong organisational skills and customer service excellence.
• Willingness to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

At Asda, we want you to find your everything as an Online Manager, you’ll play a vital role in the day-to-day running of our Online operation in store by keeping our team engaged, vans on the road and customers happy. You will be responsible of the online shrink agenda with structured process and data lead decisions and validating picker and driver resource for the store through effective rota planning making sure the team is driving picking accuracy to guarantee consistency on the online operation.

• Drive strategy into action: Planning and executing all trading activity on the shopfloor, delivering great availability standards, key metrics and KRAs through routine and processes.
• Lead with impact: Engaging and coaching your team to constantly improve routine and process whilst creating a culture of selling with personality, driving pick accuracy and serving our customers with heart and pride.
• Results-focused: Drive best value offering across our online operation, CSI and react to customer feedback to create and execute effective action plans from audits.
• Talent Development: Listen with empathy, driving resilience and encourage ownership, focus and passion for the business by bringing the “Asdaness” to work every day and supporting the development of the team and creating an environment where people feel valued, trusted, and motivated to step up.
