Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is recruiting for a Warehouse Picker/Packer in a chilled distribution centre in Aylesford.

You will use handheld scanners, meet KPI targets, and help prepare orders for dispatch in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' warehouse picking and packing experience.

• Experience working in a chilled environment.
• Proven track record of achieving high pick-rate and accuracy targets.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing chilled products accurately using handheld scanners.

Job description

Warehouse Picker/Packer - Days (Chilled Warehouse)

£13.48 per hour (Weekdays) | £16.18 per hour (Weekends)

Location: Aylesford
Shift Pattern: 7:00am - 7:00pm (12-hour shifts)
Working Pattern: 4 shifts per week (3 weekdays + 1 weekend day)

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• At least 12 months' recent warehouse picking and packing experience
• Experience using handheld RF scanners
• Experience working in a chilled environment
• A proven track record of achieving high pick-rate and accuracy targets

Previous experience working in a chilled warehouse is highly desirable and will give you a significant advantage.

What We're Looking For

Minimum 12 months' warehouse picking experience
Confident using handheld scanning equipment
Experience working to KPI and pick-rate targets
Excellent attention to detail
Good numeracy and literacy skills
Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet throughout the shift
Reliable, hardworking, and a strong team player

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in a chilled warehouse
• Food warehouse or food distribution experience
