Job summary

Position 1 Recruitment in Hethel, Wymondham area is seeking an experienced Picker / Packer to join a well-established food manufacturing team. You will pick and pack orders to daily targets and help maintain high standards of quality and food hygiene.

You will need a full driving licence and access to your own transport due to the location. The role offers a temporary-to-permanent opportunity with overtime available after permanent attainment.

Responsibilities

• Pick sweets to create Pick & Mix pouches.
• Work efficiently to achieve daily picking targets.
• Accurately pack customer orders.
• Scan products and place orders in the courier section.
• Produce pre-packed sweet pouches.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised workspace.
• Follow all food hygiene, health and safety procedures.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production requirements.

Position 1 Recruitment is currently recruiting for Picker / Packers to join a well-established food manufacturing business based in the Hethel / Wymondham area.

Please note: A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential due to the location.

Job Details

• Location: Hethel / Wymondham
• Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:50-15:50
• Contract: Temporary to Permanent
• Overtime: Available once permanent

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Picker / Packer to join a friendly and well-established team, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders while working towards daily targets and maintaining high standards of quality and food hygiene.

Your Responsibilities

• Picking individual sweets to create Pick & Mix pouches
• Working efficiently to achieve daily picking targets
• Accurately packing customer orders
• Scanning products and ensuring orders are placed in the correct courier section
• Producing pre-packed sweet pouches
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment
• Following all food hygiene, health and safety procedures
• Working as part of a team to meet daily production requirements
