Job summary

Select is seeking a picker/packer for a food manufacturing site in the Hethel/Wymondham area. The role is Monday to Friday, 06:50–15:50, with a temporary-to-permanent contract and an hourly pay rate of £12.71.

Driver with own transport is essential due to location. The role involves picking sweets for Pick & Mix, packing orders, scanning items, and maintaining hygiene and safety in a fast-paced environment.

• Previous picking and packing experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Picking individual sweets to create Pick & Mix pouches.
• Working towards a daily picking target.
• Packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Scanning products and ensuring orders are placed in the correct courier section.
• Producing pre-packed sweet pouches.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working area.
• Following food hygiene and health and safety procedures.

Our client is a well-established food manufacturing business based in the Hethel / Wymondham area, looking for a reliable and committed Picker / Packer to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous picking and packing experience who is looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday role with the opportunity to become permanent.
