Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives in Northwich on a full-time night shift basis. The role runs 6pm–6am with a pay rate of £16.11 per hour. You’ll pick, load and unload, manage stock with possible FLT use, and use inventory software to ensure timely deliveries.

Training is provided, and the site offers canteen facilities and on-site parking. Safety, hygiene and teamwork are essential in this dusty, noisy warehouse environment.

• Perform tasks from management to deliver quality, food-safe products on time.

Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives in Northwich.

The rate of pay is £16.11 per hour.

This is a full-time role working fixed night shifts and the hours of work are:

• 6pm to 6am

Your Time at Work

• Using trained skills to complete all tasks assigned by a member of the management team and ensuring that quality, food safe products are delivered on time to our customers
• Operational task including picking, loading and unloading of products
• Support with moving and manage stock using a forklift truck if required
• Using software to transact and inventory to manage our products
• Completing safe and legal checks
• Performing administrative tasks to ensure all deliveries internal and external are booked in and out
• Schedule daily collections
• Maintaining communication and good relationships between manufacturing and logistics
• Following good manufacturing practices to ensure the working area is kept clean and tidy at all times
• Completing tasks as efficiently as possible in order to reduce waste, reporting all issues to a member of the management team
• Handling the package products in accordance with all relevant food safety standards
• Complying with company policy including safe working practices, Health and Safety, security, hygiene standards and cleaning schedules
• Work flexibly to support all areas of the business where required to ensure service levels are met
• Site will provide training in order to complete the tasks, quality, specification and operational requirements
• Knows and complies with all relevant business and site policies such as Health and Safety

What we're looking for:

• Safety and Food Safety Standards
• Fork Lift Truck (FLT) Licence
• Relevant system knowledge and IT skills
• Good product knowledge
• Flexibility, adaptability and teamwork
• Working in a warehouse environment which can be dusty and noisy, with varied temperatures (ambient and chilled)
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times
• Ability to work in a fast paced physical manufacturing environment distributing quality, food safe products for customers

PPT training will be provided.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
