Job description

I am supporting the search for a Facultive PI / Financial Lines Underwriter within a Specialist MGA. This role is a great suit for a broker with a distribution network and understanding of facilities within Financial Lines or PI. The business is a technology driven MGA with a large international portfolio of +£10M written premium in Financial Lines and Cyber.

• Develop and manage a portfolio of Facultative PI and Financial Lines business, supporting profitable growth across an established international portfolio.
• Leverage an existing broker distribution network to identify new business opportunities and develop relationships across the Financial Lines and PI markets.
• Liaise directly with brokers, MGAs and underwriting partners to structure, negotiate and secure facultative placements and facility opportunities.
• Assess, price and underwrite complex PI and Financial Lines risks, ensuring appropriate risk selection and alignment with the MGA’s underwriting strategy.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing facilities and develop new distribution channels, using market knowledge and data-driven underwriting strategies to drive portfolio performance.

The suitable candidate will be from a facilities broking background in Financial Lines (PI, D&O, Cyber) looking to explore roles in Underwriting and build a new portfolio.
