An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist to join our Intermediate Care Team based in Glenrothes Hospital as part of the Integrated Community Assessment and Support Service (ICASS).
You will require NHS experience working with adults, mainly Older People, with assessment and treatment skills related to this patient group.
Patients are seen as inpatients, in their own homes, homely settings, or as outpatients. The team focuses on inpatient and community rehabilitation, preventing unnecessary admissions, supporting early discharge, and enabling patients to remain as independent as possible at home.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Physiotherapy, be registered with the HCPC, and demonstrate continuous professional development appropriate for the band. Experience in audit, service development, and supervising junior staff (for Band 6) is essential.
Occasionally, you may need to work at other community hospital sites. Our service offers regular supervision, PDP, and training opportunities. Travel throughout the area is required, and flexible working hours over 7 days are part of ICASS developments. Public holiday work is expected, except Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
Interviews will be conducted face-to-face.
