Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is inviting applications for a Band 6 Physiotherapist within the Multidisciplinary Chronic Pain Service. The role focuses on chronic pain management using a biopsychosocial model and offers development opportunities within a supportive MDT.

You will support patients to improve function and quality of life through rehabilitation, education and self-management, while contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Registered physiotherapist with NHS or equivalent experience.
• Experience in musculoskeletal or long-term conditions welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment for patients with chronic pain.
• Support patients to develop self-management skills and improve function.
• Develop psychological skills (e.g., motivational interviewing, CBT, ACT) to enhance care.
• Deliver pain education and structured group programmes.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team (physiotherapists, psychologists, nurses, consultants).
• Participate in audit, service development and quality improvement projects.

We are excited to offer an opportunity to join our Multidisciplinary Chronic Pain Service for a Band 6 Physiotherapist. This role is ideal for a physiotherapist with experience in musculoskeletal or long-term conditions, looking to develop specialist skills in chronic pain management using a biopsychosocial approach. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting patients to improve their function and quality of life through rehabilitation, education and self-management strategies.
