Job summary

Stockport NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the specialist Pain service. You will work in a multidisciplinary team with anaesthetic consultants, nurses, OT and psychology, managing your own chronic pain caseload and contributing to education sessions.

You will lead clinical care pathways, develop service improvements, and collaborate with the wider team to provide a multidisciplinary approach for complex patients. A DBS check may apply.

Qualifications

• Clinical reasoning and decision-making in complex pain cases.
• CPD portfolio demonstrating ongoing professional development.
• Registration with a recognised professional body in physiotherapy.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the specialist Pain service within the MDT.
• Manage an autonomous caseload of patients with chronic pain.
• Develop and evaluate treatment plans and coordinate interventions.
• Contribute to group education sessions and service development.
• Collaborate with consultants, nurses, OT, psychology and junior staff.
