Job summary

First Community Health & Care is seeking a Band 5 physiotherapist to join the musculoskeletal outpatient MSK Physiotherapy Team. You will deliver high-quality clinical care within a supportive NHS environment and work as part of a forward-thinking team.

The role offers strong clinical supervision from senior staff, First Contact Practitioners and Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioners, plus opportunities for ongoing professional development through an active in-service programme and CPD

Qualifications

  • Core student placements completed.
  • MSK experience as a Band 5 physiotherapist.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology.
  • Demonstrated commitment to CPD and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality clinical work in the musculoskeletal service.
  • Assess and treat own caseload of patients and maintain records as an autonomous practitioner.
  • Participate in rehabilitation classes and adhere to the Job Description and Person Specification.

Main duties of the job

Successful candidates will be responsible for theassessment and treatment of a mixed musculoskeletal caseload as well asparticipating in rehabilitation classes.

Continued professional and personal development is vital in thisdevelopment post. The post holder willbe part of an active in-service training programme and encouraged toparticipate in regular CPD activity.
