Job summary

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our Rehabilitation Community Therapy service. The role focuses on delivering person-centred rehabilitation in clients' homes and community settings to support independence and wellbeing.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, provide structured interventions, and help patients progress along their recovery journey. Flexible patterns and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Registration or qualification in physiotherapy.
• Experience in community-based rehabilitation or recovery work.
• Strong communication, empathy and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to motivate individuals at varying stages of recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred rehabilitation therapy in clients' homes and community settings.
• Support clients to develop daily living skills, mobility, confidence and independence.
• Deliver structured intervention plans and monitor progress.
• Work collaboratively with physiotherapists, OTs, nurses and MDTs.
• Facilitate group-based rehabilitation, wellbeing sessions or community outreach.

We are expanding our Rehabilitation Community Therapy service and are looking for a dedicated, compassionate and professional Band 6 Physiotherapist who wants to make a genuine difference in the lives of people.
